I wanted to let you know about a We the People petition and ask for your support. Will you add your name to mine? If this petition gets 100,000 signatures within 30 days of its creation, the White House will review it and respond!

You can view and sign the petition here:

Maintain funding for NIST stations WWV & WWVH

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/maintain-funding-nist-stations-wwv-wwvh

Thanks for raising your voice!

Correction:
"Congress passes budgets not the WH. Petition is useless at this point even if there was a cut. This drama comes from an old WH proposal months ago that was already shot down by Congress. NIST is slated to get a nearly 150 million budget increase FY2019WWV WWVH WWVB will b fine." Thanks to  WA4ZKO for updated info on this.

Does anyone have any suggestions for restaurants for monthly Dinner Socials that are not listed on the CALENDAR page of or club website?

We are looking for input from everyone that participates, or would like to participate in our monthly Dinner Socials.

Thx,

Mike Decossas‎ to SELCOM
We are Happy to announce that we have upgraded our repeater platform to include Analogue FM, DMR, C4FM FCS and D-Star. We have upgraded the 146.775 and 444.825 repeaters. These are wide area coverage and should provide both analogue and digital coverage throughout the New Orleans Metro Area. A big Thank you to all the members of JARC, Ozone ARC and our SELCOM membership. We would not have been successful without their help! We will update our web page over the next few days with detailed connection information. Stay tuned. In the next few weeks we will be having a class on DMR radio and its uses
